The places you pick never leave your iPhone. Elsewhere sets your location on the device itself. No coordinate you choose is sent to us, logged, or stored anywhere we can see.
What we hold

What we never hold
- Any location you simulate, or your real location.
- Your Apple ID or its password. It goes from your computer straight to Apple, so that Apple can sign the app. It never reaches us.
- Card numbers. Stripe handles payment; we only see the last four digits and the outcome.
Who else is involved
- Stripe — payments and billing.
- Keygen — licence and device records.
- Resend — the emails we send you.
- Cloudflare — hosting this site and the licence API.
Separately, the iPhone app talks to Apple Maps when you search for a place and to OpenStreetMap when a route needs speed limits. Those requests go from your phone to them, under their own privacy policies, and not through us.
How long
Licence and activation records last as long as your licence does, plus the period our tax obligations require for the payment records attached to them. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove what isn't legally required.
Your choices
Write to support@elsewheregps.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to those things; we'll do them regardless.
