These terms cover your use of Elsewhere, software published by Cameron Chase Eriksen ("we", "us"). By buying or using Elsewhere you agree to them.
What you're buying
A personal licence to use Elsewhere on one iPhone or iPad, from as many of your own computers as you like. The licence is yours, not transferable, and not for sharing.
A subscription runs until you cancel it. A Lifetime licence is a one-off payment for the current product and the updates we publish for it; it does not oblige us to keep publishing forever, and we may stop selling it at any time.
What you may not do
- Share, sell, rent or sublicense your licence key or account.
- Work around the licensing — including patching the app, faking a device identifier, or using a key you weren't given.
- Use Elsewhere to break the law, to defraud anyone, or to impersonate someone.
- Redistribute the software, modified or otherwise.
We may suspend a licence that is being shared, has been charged back, or is being used as above. Where we suspend for a mistake, we'll put it right.
Other people's rules are your responsibility
Simulating your location may breach the terms of other apps and services you use, and some of them detect it and penalise accounts. We don't make those rules and we can't shield you from them. Deciding whether to simulate your location inside a given app is your call, and its consequences are yours.
What we don't promise
Elsewhere relies on a developer pathway Apple ships and can change. Apple has changed it before and will again. We'll keep up as best we can, but we can't promise Elsewhere will work on every device, on every iOS version, forever.
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel a subscription any time from your account page; it runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are covered in the refund policy, which is part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email the address on your account before it takes effect.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
